The Africa Overland Network

The Africa Overland Network site is a great site to gather information on how to go about preparing for a trip such as ours. Containing numerous links to other overlanders sites both current and past we found it very useful background information.

Foley Specialist Vehicles

Based in Roydon, Essex, Foleys have a long history of providing overland and specialist vehicles. Run by Paul & Stuart Foley, Paul manages the workshop activities with Stuart the front Sales office. We talked to a number of good companies who prepare overland vehicles but in the end chose Foleys partly from personal recommendations but also from our own experience of Africa we felt their ability to provide support if required from their operation in Zambia was a useful asset. Paul & Stuart were especially helpful (and patient) during the long process while we decided on what presented the most cost effective way of achieving what we needed in a vehicle.
